A Little More Adventure started as a family effort — my husband helped me get it off the ground — and it’s grown into something I never expected: a way to love on this community I call home.
I share the places that make Central Florida special. The tucked-away thrift store. The drive-in theatre that’s been making memories for generations. The family-run restaurant you’d drive right past if nobody told you to stop. My videos are for two kinds of people: locals looking for their next favorite spot, and visitors building their must-do list before they get here. Either way, my goal is the same — happy, helpful content that supports the places I feature as much as the people watching.
Content with a purpose
At the end of last year, God put something on my heart: a way to make all of this mean more. So I made a commitment — 50% of everything I earn from my social platforms goes back out as a blessing to others.
Every month, I share the numbers publicly: what came in, and what we have to give. Then I find a way to put it to work — a local food pantry, a hardworking waitress, a kids’ play area that was struggling to stay open, a family’s GoFundMe for a livable home… and the list keeps growing.
That commitment is what gets me posting even on the tough days. It’s never just a video — every view helps me be a bigger blessing to someone who needs one.
Jesus said the second greatest commandment is to love people. That’s the goal behind every post, every feature, and every dollar given: love people.
